SEABREEZE RETROFIT KITS
upgrade existing Wilcox SEABRACE Stabilizer systems
and provide a full digital electronics package to replace the outdated transistorized amplifiers while utilizing existing mechanical components of the Wilcox Seabrace bilge fin stabilizer system.
SEABREEZE Software is the heart of the SEABRACE UPGRADE package.
Specifically developed to provide functional enhancements, SEABREEZE Software greatly improves stabilizer performance program integrity, includes new operator displays, improved screen navigation, and adds Captain's features.
The control hardware is comprised of an Allen Bradley Micrologix® PLC coupled to a PanelView® or PanelView Plus® waterproof keypad / touch screen display . These modules are widely used in commercial and military shipboard automation applications.
A Solid State Roll Gyro replaces the old mechanical gyro providing longer life, increased roll detection sensitivity and response, while giving greater noise immunity from other shipboard electronic systems.
Newly designed carbonless Fin Position Sensors replace the old carbon ‘taper potentiometers’ that were subject to wear and corrosion. These new devices are designed for a life of 1.5 million rotation cycles and provide superior signal resolution to past sensor designs.
Robust DC/DC Power Supplies and noise filters compliment the installation. We use only Newmar® power supplies for proven reliability.

Please provide shaft length from face of old potentiometer. Note: port and starboard sensors are rotation sensitive and are NOT Interchangeable with each other.
